wichita Adaptive Sports Scholarship Opportunity…
Wichita Adaptive Sports will award scholarships to individuals with physical needs who desire to participate in a sport offered through our programs or offered through the applicant’s school. Scholarships may be awarded up to $3,000 annually and applicants may apply once a year. In order to qualify for this grant the applicant must reside in the state of Kansas. Grant money will be disbursed quarterly (January, April, July, October) based on when the application was submitted. The intent of how grant money will be a benefit to personal improvement must be clearly outlined in the essay. To be considered for future grants, receipts must be submitted before the end of the fiscal year (December) showing the money provided was used for it’s initial intent. Applicants may request assistance for travel to events or for adaptive equipment and devices.
